COFFEE BEAN STYLE SERVING BOARD - ASH (LARGE)
Only 1 in stock
It gives us great pleasure to showcase our unique large size kiln-dried Ash 'Roasted Coffee Bean style' serving board (food safe finish) with realistic burnt edges in the Yakisugi style
This very versatile board can fit comfortably in any home and used at any time of the day whether it be for toast, sandwiches, snacks etc etc… and will brighten up any day !
From our own hand-sketched design, this quality serving board displays & typifies the natural grain of ash, and the outer edge has been charred in the traditional Yakisugi Japanese style giving it a wonderful texture to represent coffee bean roasting
In the middle of the serving board we have ground a curved groove to represent the groove in the middle of a roasted coffee bean, and applied the Yakisugi burning process to accentuate it
All in all this piece will certainly cheer your day up and amuse your friends & family and is a great idea for a memorable gift
Please note – the large serving board shown in this listing is not the actual one you will receive as it is for our photographic purposes. However you will receive one of the same sizing as listed, but the wood grain & the burning will vary to a degree
This board is finally finished off with Oak and Still Creations special application method and recipe of pure beeswax and mineral oil by submerging in a warm bath of our beeswax conditioner, allowed to dry, buffed up & repeated and finally buffed again to a high end finish
Dimensions of serving board: approx 295mm length at longest point x 250mm wide at widest point x 15mm thickness
For the after-care of this board we would highly recommend the purchase of Oak and Still Creations wax conditioner & applying a small amount from the tin, rubbing into the surface with a lint-free cloth. Allow to sit for 15-20 minutes then buff off with another lint-free cloth to a sheen. Can be purchased by clicking on this link: our beeswax conditioner
